John

John Walker

Solicitor

John has grown up and lived in the Manning Valley for most of his life. He attended school at Bobin, Wingham and Taree before completing his secondary education in Sydney.


John holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree from Newcastle University. John obtained his Diploma in Law from the Legal Practitioners Admission Board in 1996. He is also a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Notaries.

John has been practising in Taree since 1997. Since that time John has held office with the Mid North Coast Law Society. John’s main areas of practice are Commercial Litigation and also assisting clients with catastrophic compensation claims. In addition, John has a special interest in assisting clients with estate planning and issues regarding appointments of enduring attorneys and guardians.


Outside of the law, John enjoys surfing and performing with local bands . He also sits on the board of local community groups, helping as best as his abilities allow. 

Jennifer Burgess

She was admitted in 2022 in and is experienced in Property Law (conveyancing and commercial) and in Court Advocate representing clients in Criminal, Civil and traffic matters.

Jennifer is results-driven and committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients. Her focused approach enables her to gain deep insights into each client's circumstances, ensuring personalised and effective legal strategies. Jennifer prides herself on her ability to explain legal proceedings in plain English, guiding clients through the complexities of the court system and setting clear expectations at every stage of their matter.
